Celebrated hotelier Mandarin Oriental just added a slew of luxe new estates to its exclusive roster of Expectational Homes, a.k.a. a prime crop of private properties across the globe ready for your next short-term stay. Now, 10 new locales have joined the family, ranging from Florence to Sardinia and Marabella to Puglia.

The expansion marks the first time Expectational Homes has dipped its toe in Firenze. There, you can now stay at Villa Petrucci, a private estate that’s just steps from Ponte Vecchio and the famed Uffizi Gallery (home to Sandro Botticelli’s The Birth of Venus, among other artwork). Priced from €92,233 per week, the villa just got a contemporary makeover by designer Massimo Adario, a five-year restoration that adds a modern touch to Florence’s famed architectural style. The accommodation, which actually spans two houses, sleeps up to 10 and offers up lush gardens and a pool onsite.

Mandarin Oriental also expanded further south, adding a new property in Sardinia to the mix. Christened Villa Marzia, the home offers up a rare beachfront accommodation with its own beach access amid a sheltered natural harbor. The new spot, priced from €54,000 a week, can sleep 10.

Puglia, meanwhile, got two new locales, with Trullo delle Dame and Trullo dei Pumi entering the fray. The former (from around €18,000/week) is home to five ensuite double bedrooms and a primary bedroom with its own soaking tub nestled in the olive groves of the Apulia countryside; the latter (from around €15,000), shows off the Italian rural living with handcrafted stone walls set amid its serene surroundings.
