Monaco Art Week 2026 Brings the Global Art World to the Riviera

This spring, Monaco Art Week returns for its eighth edition, affirming the Principality’s growing authority on the international art scene.

Monaco has always understood spectacle. When the Principality embraced the Formula 1 Grand Prix, it did so with unmistakable flair, creating what is now the most iconic race on the annual circuit. The same instinct shaped the Monaco Yacht Show, which has become the benchmark of glamour on the global yachting calendar. Today, that confidence is increasingly evident in the cultural sphere, as Monaco asserts its place on the international art stage.

At the heart of this evolution is Monaco Art Week. Returning for its eighth edition from 27 April to 1 May, the event transforms the Principality into a walkable circuit of exhibitions and encounters, reflecting the growing ambition and maturity of Monaco’s art scene.

Held under the patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, the festival attracts collectors, curators and art lovers with a carefully curated itinerary across the Principality’s most emblematic districts. Galleries, auction houses and independent spaces present exhibitions alongside talks and artist encounters, offering a broad scope that spans ancient works, Old Masters, modern and contemporary art, as well as exceptional high jewellery.

Returning to its original springtime position, the event once again coincides with Art Monte- Carlo, reinforcing Monaco’s status as a key protagonist on the global cultural roster. The 2026 iteration brings together an international selection of participants, including Artcurial, Christie’s, Sotheby’s, Opera Gallery, Almine Rech, Moretti Fine Art and Galerie Adriano Ribolzi

The first instalment of Monaco Art Week was held in 2018. Since then it has become a lucid expression of the Principality’s cultural direction, which sees art and luxury converge under the Riviera sun.
