The world’s greatest Michelin-starred chefs are set to return to Monaco for the year’s most exciting gastronomic festival.
It’s like gathering Nadal, Federer, Djokovic and Murray together for the ultimate tennis doubles exhibition. The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo—which has become a must-attend highlight of Monaco’s gastronomic calendar— is back for its fifth edition, and will this year feature a series of upscale dinners, crafted by a dream team of chef combos.
The festivities kick off on April 10th at the Michelin-starred Le Grill atop Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. Dominique Lory, executive chef of the iconic restaurant, will host Pierre Gagnaire, a culinary legend that Lory worked with 25 years ago. Their reunion promises to create fireworks as Lory will also welcome his mentor and former colleague, Thierry Méchinaud—chef at the three-starred Restaurant Pierre Gagnaire in Paris—to complete this gastronomic tour de force.
The festival’s second leg will be held on June 20th at Louis XV-Alain Ducasse à l’Hôtel de Paris—also a triplestar establishment. Alain Ducasse, the world’s most decorated chef in terms of Michelin awards, will join forces with Spanish culinary master Albert Adrià— with whom he previously worked at the acclaimed ADMO pop-up restaurant project in Paris.

On July 13th, the carnival moves to Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo for a collaboration between Yannick Alléno and Davide Oldani, two of the most influential chefs in the industry. Oldani, known for his “cucina pop” approach, will partner Alleno for a feast that promises simplicity married with sophisticated flavours.
The fourth dinner, taking place on July 18th at two-starred Blue Bay Marcel Ravin in the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort, features another exceptional duo. Doublestarred chef Marcel Ravin will host Anne- Sophie Pic, the world’s most starred female chef, for an event that marks the first collaboration between the duo. An evening of bold, innovative cuisine awaits.
The festival culminates in a grand gala dinner later in the autumn, bringing together all the featured chefs for a celebration and final send-off.
Hosted by Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, the extravaganza continues to shine a light on the innovation that suffuses Monaco’s dining scene, making it an unforgettable experience for fine dining enthusiasts—and a chance for the culinary dream team to put on an unforgettable show.
