Mirazur Unveils 20th Anniversary Menu Tracing Its Culinary Evolution

Mirazur

To mark its 20th anniversary, Mirazur presents a retrospective menu curated by Ferran Adrià, revisiting two decades of Mauro Colagreco’s Riviera restaurant.

Perched above the Mediterranean in Menton, Mirazur has long been woven into the fabric of Riviera dining. This year, the three-Michelin-starred restaurant marks its 20th anniversary with a special menu curated by the Catalan visionary Ferran Adrià in collaboration with chef-patron Mauro Colagreco.

Available from 1 April to 17 May, the menu is conceived as a retrospective of Mirazur’s culinary journey. Adrià was invited as a “gastronomic curator”; he has studied the evolution of Colagreco’s cuisine to help craft a single tasting menu that traces this history. The result salutes the milestones of a restaurant that has become an icon of the Côte d’Azur, recognised for its vibrant, produce-driven food, much of it sourced from the permaculture gardens that terrace down towards the sea.

Adrià’s curatorship also acknowledges the lineage of French haute cuisine (from the discipline of Auguste Escoffier to the spirit of nouvelle cuisine) that continues to inform Mirazur’s approach to cooking.

Colagreco often speaks of his craft in philosophical terms. “By choosing what we eat and cook, we choose the world we want to live in,” he says—an idea that runs through Mirazur’s approach to ingredients, nature and the surrounding landscape.

Priced at €530, the anniversary menu is offered with several wine pairings, including a cellar-led selection of vintages tied to key moments in Mirazur’s history —a thoughtful reflection on two decades of this emblematic restaurant above the Mediterranean.
