The Tuscan estate, set a few hours from Monaco, has revealed a development project introducing new residences, cultural spaces and lifestyle experiences.
In the hills of Tuscany, Castelfalfi is entering a new phase in its long and layered history. Located within the Municipality of Montaione near Florence, the estate has announced a development project that seeks to build on its existing foundations while continuing to reflect the character and traditions of the region.
This new initiative, described as an evolution rather than a transformation, reflects nearly two decades of sustained investment in both hospitality and agriculture. The plans include the revitalisation of select areas across the estate’s 2,700-acre landscape—introducing sensitively restored farmhouses, newly constructed villas, and long-stay holiday residences. Complementing these residential elements will be spaces dedicated to cultural, recreational, and sporting activities, all thoughtfully integrated into the natural and cultural context of the region.

We are extremely proud of this ambitious project, which marks a significant milestone in Castelfalfi’s history and brings to life the original vision, that will contribute to the growth of its community,” states Mounir Husseini, Castelfalfi’s CEO. “The development of a mindful luxury living community deeply enriches our identity, bringing with it a cultural value that is both authentic and enduring. It is a step that strengthens the bond between our estate, Tuscan tradition, and the future we envision for this unique place.”
The estate, long committed to the preservation of local values, continues to invest in agriculture, hospitality, and curated experiences. These include organic farming, fine dining, a wellness spa, boutique shopping, and a sustainable golf area currently under renovation.

“This is a significant moment for our community,” declares the Mayor of Montaione, Paolo Pomponi, “as we witness the development of this project, which embodies our shared aspiration to secure a brighter future for our territory.”
Easily accessible via a 4.5 hour drive from Monaco, Castelfalfi represents an elegant counterpart to the Riviera lifestyle—and an ideal staycation getaway for the summer.
