The 16th Riva Trophy will reunite more than 20 of the marque’s most celebrated boats for a Monaco-to-Saint-Tropez rally inspired by Brigitte Bardot and the glamour of the French Riviera.
Some boats become icons. Others come to define an entire way of life. Few have done both quite like Riva. This week, one of the Mediterranean’s most anticipated gatherings of Riva owners will return as Monaco Boat Service hosts the 16th edition of the Riva Trophy, bringing together more than 20 classic and contemporary models for a two-day celebration between Monaco and Saint-Tropez.
Taking place on 26 and 27 June 2026, the biennial event has become a fixture of the Riviera’s yachting calendar, combining a regularity rally with social gatherings that celebrate the enduring appeal of one of Italy’s most recognisable boatbuilders. This year’s edition looks firmly towards the French Riviera’s golden age, adopting the theme “Saint-Tropez – Les Années de BB” in tribute to Brigitte Bardot and the era that transformed the fishing village into an international symbol of glamour.
Participants will depart Monaco following a welcome breakfast and briefing before taking part in the traditional rally to Saint-Tropez, where the fleet will gather for lunch on Pampelonne Beach before an evening overlooking the harbour inspired by Bardot’s 1960s Riviera. Guests are invited to embrace the period through vintage-inspired dress, reflecting the effortless elegance that became synonymous with both Saint-Tropez and Riva itself.
Saturday’s programme continues with an Elegance Contest in which crews will interpret the Bardot theme through fashion, music and onboard styling before the fleet parades through the Port of Saint-Tropez. After returning to Monaco, the weekend concludes with a gala dinner at the Aquarama Lounge, where winners of both the rally and elegance competition will be announced. Among the prizes are two limited-edition aquamarine F.P. Journe timepieces created for the event.
More than a celebration of classic craftsmanship, the Riva Trophy continues to reflect the enduring relationship between Monaco, Saint-Tropez and a marque that remains inseparable from the Riviera lifestyle.
