The renowned French photographer captures the soul of the sea in a special showcase of 100 photographs, displayed throughout the 2025 event in Monaco.
As you make your way around the Monaco Yacht Show this week, you’ll notice more than just boats. Woven into the docks, amid the gleaming hulls and curated displays, is a different kind of showcase. “Tribute to Yachting”, a large-scale photographic exhibition by French photographer Guillaume Plisson, will feature 100 large-format works installed throughout Port Hercule from September 24th-27th, 2025.
Plisson, based in the French Riviera and deeply rooted in maritime culture, offers a distinctive view of the yachting world through his lens. His images are more than visually striking—they aim to reveal the emotion behind the superyacht experience.

“This exhibition was born from a shared desire—with the Monaco Yacht Show—to offer an artistic and emotional perspective on the world of yachting,” says Plisson. “The show was conceived as a condensed retrospective of this photographic journey—to reveal the diversity, emotions and richness of a world often elusive—and as a grateful tribute to all those who embody the universe of yachting.”
Plisson’s photographs range from cinematic seascapes to behind-the-scenes moments— capturing the quiet details that often go unnoticed and yet define life onboard. His lens reveals the essence of yachting in all its forms: the power of design, the elegance of sailing and the enduring appeal of a lifestyle reserved for a select few.

The exhibition opens with a preview during the show’s Grand Opening Night and has been conceived as a core element of the visitor experience. It seeks to deepen the emotional connection between guests and the world of yachting by placing its artistry at the heart of the event.
More than a retrospective, “Tribute to Yachting” invites visitors to look beyond the surface of the industry—to consider the people, the stories and the emotion behind the craft. As Gaëlle Tallarida, managing director of the Monaco Yacht Show, notes: “This collaboration with Guillaume Plisson reflects the MYS’s desire to celebrate the human side of yachting— the stories, the dreams and the quiet beauty that move us beyond the surface”.
