These world-class drivers have equally stunning rides off the track.
As the F1 drivers line up on the grid at the historic Monte-Carlo Grand Prix next week, it won’t just be their cars on display. Many of them, including Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton, will have their superyachts berthed at Port Hercule ready to host both the best views of the race and incredible after parties.
In previous years, Hamilton has hosted high-end experiences befitting of a seven-time Formula 1 world champion, including luxury tender transfers, open bars, and DJ mixes, making it a popular spot for VIPs.
But this year Max Verstappen and Aston Martin chairman Lawrence Stroll will be stealing much of the limelight with their new deliveries on show; Stroll with his 262-foot Feadship Faith, the newest entry on this list, and Verstappen’s $15 million (€13.2 million) Mangusta GranSport 33 Unleash The Lion.

Lawrence Stroll, ‘Faith’
Canadian businessman Lawrence Stroll is all about keeping it in the family. He’s part owner and executive chairman of Aston Martin, as well as owner of its Formula 1 team, for which his son, Lance Stroll, is a driver. Stroll senior’s yacht, the 262-foot Feadship Faith, is the newest entry on this list after he took delivery of the hybrid-powered vessel in March—just in time for Grand Prix season. It replaces his previous 317-foot Feadship of the same name (now renamed Sophia), which he sold to Michael Latifi, father of former F1 driver Nicholas Latifi. Stroll’s decision to downsize is due to the desire to access smaller marinas, yet Faith still boasts an impressive volume of 2,500 gross tonnes.
Max Verstappen, ‘Unleash The Lion’
When Red Bull Racing F1 driver Max Verstappen pictured his 2025 summer season, it featured a $15 million Mangusta GranSport 33. The 27-year-old Monaco resident, who celebrated his fourth consecutive world championship earlier this year, took receipt of the speedy runaround just in time to cruise the Mediterranean in between racing on the F1 circuit. Collaboratively designed by Alberto Mancini and Overmarine Group’s technical departments, Unleash the Lion can hit 26 knots, but it also has an impressive range, generous interior volumes, and spacious outdoor spaces. It’s also one of the first large yachts to benefit from the new semi-planing edition of Volvo Penta IPS1350 (four smaller engines, rather than two large ones) for faster acceleration.
Fernando Alonso, Sunreef 60 Power Eco
Fernando Alonso took delivery of his Sunreef 60 Power Eco in 2023, a year after the Polish yard seduced him in Cannes aboard its Sunreef 80 Power Eco (inset). Alonso wasted no time in making the most of his $4.5 million custom electric boat (with silent solar-powered cruising). The Spanish star “enjoys the quiet and slow pace of yachting, which contrasts with the high-speed world of Formula 1,” according to a Sunreef release.
Lewis Hamilton, Sunseeker 90
Scuderia Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton is enjoying spare moments off the track aboard his Sunseeker 90. The British racing driver took possession of the 90-foot yacht in 2009 for a reported $4 million and keeps it in Monaco’s Port Hercule year-round, making it a convenient base during the prestigious Monte-Carlo Grand Prix. Sleeping up to eight guests and with a planing hull design that returns a top speed of 30 knots, the post-race yacht parties must be phenomenal—as well as the Ibiza mini-breaks Hamilton takes during the off-season months.
Charles Leclerc, ‘Monza’
Named after the world-famous Monza racing circuit—itself known as the Temple of Speed—Charles Leclerc’s 48 Dolceriva is an homage to style and pace. He took delivery of the $2 million Riva in 2020, a year after winning the 2019 Italian Grand Prix. The Monégasque Formula 1 racer, who competes for Scuderia Ferrari, selected an interior designed by Officina Italian Design that features cream finishes, natural wood, and luxurious amenities, including open decks with white sofas either side and two facing aft.
Nico Rosberg, Sunreef 80 Eco
It’s little wonder that former F1 driver-turned-sustainability entrepreneur Nico Rosberg (and son of former F1 racing driver Keke Rosberg) should choose a solar-powered sailing yacht for his first foray into yachting. His Sunreef 80 Eco benefits from the yard’s green propulsion package, energy efficiency, and sustainable features, including lithium battery banks and wind turbines. The catamaran also features a “solar skin” that has solar panels integrated into the hull and exterior surfaces. “Everything I’m doing as an entrepreneur is based on sustainability and eco so [Sunreef and I are] a great match,” he said in 2020 following his appointment as an eco brand ambassador for the Polish shipyard. Rosberg is also the founder of the Berlin-based GreenTech Festival, and is an investor and shareholder of the all-electric racing series Formula E.
Eddie Jordan, ‘Blush’
The late, great Eddie Jordan, who passed away in March, was perhaps the most prolific yacht owner of all Formula 1 personalities. In 2012, the founder and former team principal of Jordan Grand Prix splashed out on hull number one of the Oyster 885 sailing yacht series, which he called Lush and competed in the inaugural Oyster World Rally. He later sold the boat to his friend Richard Hadida, now owner of Oyster Yachts, and in 2014, jumped ship from sailing to motor yachts with the $42 million purchase of a 155-foot Sunseeker called Blush—the largest model ever built by the shipyard at the time. It counted a nightclub among its amenities, but it wasn’t long before he returned to his maritime roots and acquired a 149-foot Ron Holland-designed Perini Navi of the same name. In 2022, he took shared ownership with Hadida of an Oyster 495 yacht called Tuga.
