The storied British marque has just unveiled the Ghost Prism, a special edition meant to celebrate fashion and the brand’s 120th anniversary. It’s because of that last reason that the head-turning saloon will be limited to just 120 examples.

The Ghost Prism is aimed at drivers whose personal sense of style is built upon a love of dark, neutral colors, bold accents, and well-tailored shapes. The variant is available in any of the dozens of colors Rolls-Royce offers, but the demonstration example is finished in a gray called Gunmetal, which has a rich mineral finish that was produced by the application and buffering of four coats of paint during a 16-hour process. Nearly all of the car’s mirror-polished, stainless-steel trim, including the grille and rear-lid brightwork, has been coated in a smoked color called Burnout (the Spirit of Ecstasy has been left alone). Finally, there are four accent packages— Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin, and Forge Yellow—that add striking splashes of color meant to complement the car’s primary hue.

The vibrant accent work carries over to the Ghost Prism’s otherwise unchanged interior. The color is worked into the steering wheel, dashboard, and seat inserts. You can even find it in the 1,040 lights, or “stars,” embedded into the vehicle’s leather canvas Bespoke Starlight Headliner, giving each example a feel specific to the variant.

Based on the press release, it is clear that the variant is an exclusive appearance package rather than a distinct model. As such, its powertrain has been left untouched. We don’t imagine that many will take issue with this, though. The saloon is powered by one of the automaker’s trademark V-12s. The 6.7-liter mill is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends its 563 hp and 627 ft lbs of torque. As commanding as the Ghost is, it can still sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph.
