Unlock access to exclusive Royal Salute & Perrier-Jouët releases
The spirits premiered as part of opulent pairing dinners curated by Michelin-starred chefs.
Imagine the thrill of a world-class polo tournament… and then imagine it on a frozen lake, with a breathtaking view of both the action and the Swiss Alps. That’s the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, which in January 2025 celebrated its 40th anniversary, bringing together over 100 of the world’s top polo ponies and 25,000 spectators. The only high-goal polo tournament to be played on snow, the competition is part of an exclusive and glamorous weekend of social events and experiences.
It was the perfect setting to debut new ultra-limited releases from Maison Perrier-Jouët and Royal Salute, two icons of Pernod Ricard’s luxury spirits portfolio. These highly coveted expressions were unveiled exclusively to members of Le Cercle by Pernod Ricard, Pernod Ricard’s private client society. Le Cercle guests were treated to three days of fine dining, unique access to rare spirits and vintages, VIP experiences, and plenty of polo. They were also the very first to discover the new rare and unique liquids from Maison Perrier-Jouët and Royal Salute, milestone spirits to celebrate Snow Polo’s milestone anniversary.
A 55-Year-Old Whisky, Overseen by Five Master Blenders
Royal Salute unveiled the third whisky in its Time Series Collection at an elaborate pairing dinner co-created with Michelin-starred chef Fabio Rovisi. The meal took guests through four culinary seasons, illustrating the passage of time—an essential element in making great whisky. The meal was paired with whiskies from the Royal Salute portfolio, culminating in The Time Series 55 Year Old 2024 Release: an extraordinary 55-year-old whisky that’s the oldest to date in the series, and one of the oldest ever released by Royal Salute in the brand’s 70-plus year history.

The blend was created by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop from some of Royal Salute’s rarest stocks. Hyslop recalls, “We explored the full extent of our inventory to capture the complex influences of cask seasoning, maturation age, and distillery character within one undeniably special bottle.” The whiskies that make up the blend have matured under the watch of all five of the master blenders Royal Salute has had since its inception.
With only 85 bottles available, The Time Series 55 Year Old 2024 Release is the scarcest in the series to date. It’s not just a rare and noteworthy experience for the few who will get to taste it, but for the man who made it as well. Hyslop proudly notes, “To nose and taste whiskies matured over five decades is a rare opportunity in the tenure of a whisky maker, even more so knowing the expert touch of each of my predecessors in Royal Salute’s history has had a role in creating this blend. It was a privilege to craft those special liquids into a balanced blend.”
A Champagne—and a Bottle—That’s a Work of Art
Art has always been a part of Maison Perrier-Jouët’s DNA, as evidenced by its signature Art Nouveau bottle. From the maison’s first days it has supported artists from around the world. The latest collaboration is the Maison Perrier-Jouët x Objets Extraordinaires Collection, the third piece of which was unveiled at an ultra-exclusive Champagne pairing dinner hosted by Le Cercle at the two-Michelin-starred Ecco St. Moritz. Paired with a bespoke meal by Chef Rolf Fliegauf, some of the most sought-after vintages of Maison Perrier-Jouët’s Belle Epoque Champagne were poured.

A jeroboam of vintage Maison Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque Champagne is precious enough, but 10 of them—from 2012, 2008, and 1999, selected from the Oenothèque Perrier-Jouët, the maison’s reserve of rare vintages—have been transformed and elevated by Atelier Montex, under the direction of Aska Yamashita. Named a Living Heritage Company in 2013, Atelier Montex has been practicing the fine art of hand embroidering using rare materials as well as precious metals and gems with its own vision of savoir fairesince 1949, working for both designers and renowned figures in the world of fashion and couture.
The embellishment, which took more than 160 hours to craft, takes its inspiration from the classic Perrier-Jouët bottle design. Cellar Master Séverine Frerson explains, “Inspired by the house’s heritage, the dress design was conceived to embody the timeless elegance and beauty of nature. Central to the design is the iconic Japanese anemone created by Émile Gallé in 1902, a signature element of the maison and a symbol of its commitment to art and nature.
“Atelier Montex reinterpreted this emblem with exceptional savoir faire, combining traditional embroidery techniques, such as Lunéville crochet, with luxurious materials like silk organza, 24-karat-gold-plated brass, and shimmering beads. Perrier-Jouët contributed by sharing its rich history and values, guiding the creative interpretation of natural elements and graceful lines that define this exclusive edition.” This very limited edition is a unique fusion of the art of Champagne with the art of embroidery.
