The 95m Lürssen superyacht Kismet enjoys a €20m price drop in line with new representation from Cecil Wright.

With the summer yachting season ramping up in the Mediterranean, potential owners are grappling to snap up the last remaining yachts available to sail now. Kismet, built by German shipyard Lürssen, is one of most iconic and recognisable yachts on the water. She’s also the largest yacht currently for sale for immediate use, meaning that if an owner acts quickly, they could still take advantage of summer.

The award-winning 95m superyacht, built in 2014, has been maintained to the highest standards with fine quality detailing throughout. She features exteriors by Monaco’s acclaimed designer Espen Oeino and interior styling by renowned British studio Reymond Langton Design, which was briefed to create a ‘relaxed luxury’ ambience based on a ‘Champagne and caviar’ concept.

Kismet sleeps 16 guests in eight opulent cabins, including two VIP rooms and an owner’s suite that spills out over half of the upper deck and features twin bathrooms, a private deck with hot tub, and a personal office. Highlights throughout the yacht include a double-height main salon with Art Deco architecture and a sweeping staircase; a spacious saloon with fireplaces and a grand piano; a panoramic sky lounge; a state-of the art gym and spa with hammam; an aft deck lounge with fireplace and waterfall; and a mosaic-tiled pool with hot tub offering panoramic views.

Several smart spaces are transformational, including the foredeck helipad which doubles up as a basketball court, the bridge deck helipad which can be used as a lounge, and the giant sports bar that can convert into a nightclub. With myriad al fresco and indoor dining and leisure areas, it’s an excellent yacht for entertaining or for relaxing, as you desire.

Kismet is currently being represented by Cecil Wright, which has an office in Monaco. As well as securing the global central agency for the superyacht, the brokerage has negotiated a price reduction of €20m, giving her a new asking price of €149m.

Chris Cecil-Wright, the head broker, said: “Kismet is quite simply a masterpiece in today’s market and made more attractive by her asking price which has been reduced by €20m. This equates to a price per gross ton of €49,500 which is about half of her current newbuild cost so offers phenomenal value to a new owner. Coupled with the fact that KISMET is available to start cruising immediately, for private use or on the charter market, she must surely be the best opportunity in the large yacht sector today.”

We can’t imagine a better way to spend the summer on the Med.
