Built for adventure but designed with luxury in mind, MOKA is equally at home in Antarctica as she is in the Mediterranean.
For some travellers, luxury is all about beach clubs, buzzy Mediterranean hotspots and Jeroboams of rosé. For others, it’s spotting a pod of whales in Antarctica, navigating remote fjords in Greenland or waking up to landscapes so untouched they feel almost otherworldly. If you fall into the latter camp, or fancy a bit of both, then you’re in the right place.
When it comes to exploring the planet’s most extraordinary corners, few vessels do it better than the 42.2m Sanlorenzo yacht MOKA—the first real explorer yacht to emerge from the Italian shipyard when it launched in 2015. Following an extensive refit in 2021, she is now currently one of the most in-demand explorer yachts on the market and, once you step onboard, it will be easy to see why.

Both interiors and exteriors at the brainchild of Francesco Paszkowski, who has married soft, natural palettes with large windows and clean architectural finishes to create a superyacht that is both calm and contemporary at the same time.
Designed to sleep up to 10 guests in five elegant staterooms, her full-beam master on the main deck is particularly impressive, complete with large dressing area and plush en-suite. Not that the yacht’s other guests will feel hard done by—her two VIP and two guest cabins, which convert between doubles and twins, are equally serene spaces in which to retreat after a day of exploring.

Of course, a yacht designed for expedition cruising still knows a thing or two about relaxation, with highlights onboard including a luxe beach club down at water level and a 4.8-metre infinity pool on the main deck aft, which also boasts contra-current jets to transform the space into a serene private oasis when at anchor.
And the wellness aspect doesn’t stop there—guests can also take advantage of a gym, spa and a sundeck jacuzzi made for sunset sipping, plus a huge array of water toys including SeaBobs, jet skis, an 8.5-metre tender, inflatables and a 20-foot waterslide, making her the perfect blend of adventure and indulgence. What’s more, a dedicated crew of nine will be on hand to keep everything running like clockwork.

For all her creature comforts, however, Moka remains an expedition yacht at heart. Specifically designed for long-range cruising, she is crafted with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure to ensure robust seakeeping for long-range cruising, which she achieves comfortably at 11 to 12 knots. She has also been awarded RINA Green Plus classification, meaning guests can enjoy a quieter, smoother and more immersive experience in some of the world’s most remote destinations. In other words, whether you’re island-hopping around the Mediterranean or setting course for more adventurous waters, she has all bases covered.
“MOKA stands apart because she brings genuine explorer character into a yacht that still feels elegant, relaxed and highly charter-friendly,” says Harrison MacManus, Yacht Broker at Cecil Wright. “She has the purposeful profile and capability guests expect from an explorer yacht, but her onboard atmosphere is warm, contemporary and easy to enjoy.”
“MOKA is ideal for families, adventurous groups and experienced charterers who enjoy being on the water, exploring different anchorages, making the most of toys and tenders, and spending long, easy days outside. Her crew profile is a major part of that appeal,” he adds. “She would particularly suit guests who want the spirit of an expedition yacht, but not a hard-edged expedition experience—more barefoot luxury, excellent service, good food, open-air living and a sense of freedom.”
Available for charter through Cecil Wright, Moka is offered from €190,000 per week during low season and €195,000 per week in high season, with availability for 2026 across key Mediterranean cruising regions including the Balearics.
