When the sea alone won’t do, these superyacht pools deliver waterfalls, horizon views and plenty of room to unwind.
Even with the sea just inches away, there is something irresistible about a great pool on board a superyacht. The perfect spot to cool off between sunbathing sessions, gather with friends or simply take in the view without leaving the deck, today’s best superyacht pools are more than decorative extras—they are clever, social and seriously good-looking. Here are three of the finest.
Kismet

Built by Lürssen with an exterior by Nuvolari Lenard and interiors shaped by the owner’s family alongside Reymond Langton Design, the 122-metre Kismet is not exactly short on headline features. Owned by Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, she is one of the most talked-about charter yachts on the water, with a duplex owner’s apartment, two cinemas, multiple dining spaces, marble fireplaces and even a boardroom with a serious view.
As to be expected, when it comes to swimming pools, Kismet goes all in too, with not one, but three on board, each with its own purpose and personality—a Jacuzzi pool with a waterfall on the top deck, another Jacuzzi forward on the upper deck and, best of all, a mosaic-lined pool aft complete with its own waterfall and swim-up bar. Add in four outdoor showers and an extensive wellness area with spa, hammam, sauna, cryotherapy, gym and yoga studio, and Kismet makes relaxation feel wonderfully over the top.

Lady Christine

Delivered by Feadship back in 2010, the 68-metre Lady Christine has the kind of pedigree that never really goes out of style. Spread across six split-level decks and 1,608 GT, she pairs graceful proportions with an impressive amount of living space, while interiors by Rodney Black Design bring an early Art Deco influence to the mix, complete with bespoke joinery and a quietly polished feel throughout.
Her standout feature, though, is the private infinity pool on the aft deck which, designed with both views and practicality in mind, comes with a waterfall and a clever cascade system that keeps chlorinated water from spilling onto the surrounding teak. The result is a pool that feels beautifully integrated rather than simply added on, making it a calm, private spot for cooling off while looking straight out to the horizon.
Contigo

Fresh from her 2024 delivery, the 49.9-metre motor yacht Contigo offers a distinctly modern take on life at sea. Built by Sanlorenzo and designed by Studio Lissoni, she introduces a “floating penthouse” concept that places the owner’s suite on the upper deck, freeing up the lower levels for a more open, lifestyle-led layout. The result is a yacht that feels calm, contemporary and very much designed around how guests actually spend time on board.
Set aft, Contigo’s infinity pool may be compact, but it is cleverly positioned to make the most of the view, with open vistas across the water and a surrounding deck arranged for sunbathing, dining and socialising. It gives the yacht an attractive gathering point outside, whether guests are cooling off between swims, settling in with a drink or simply enjoying the sounds of the ocean from the stern. Add in the Ocean Lounge below, a spa, sauna and gym, plus a strong lineup of water toys, and Contigo is a fine example of poolside living at sea.
