Turquoise Yachts Delivers 88-Metre Flagship Angelique Just in Time for Summer

Angelique is the largest yacht ever built in Turkey.

The Turkish shipyard’s largest yacht to date brings Art Deco-inflected interiors, expansive wellness spaces and serious charter appeal to the 80-metre-plus market.

As the French Riviera yachting season gets under way, Angelique arrives with near-perfect timing. The 88-metre flagship from Turquoise Yachts has just been delivered from the shipyard’s Istanbul facilities, bringing with her the distinction of being the largest yacht ever built in Turkey. Better still for those planning a summer on the water, she is available to charter.

The delivery marks a significant, record-breaking moment for Turquoise Yachts as it continues to establish itself in the 70-metre-plus sector. But for the owner, the brief was not simply about scale. Formerly known as NB74 Project Vento, Angelique has been conceived as a fully realised private retreat for Mediterranean living. Across five decks, she brings together generous exterior spaces, a substantial wellness offering and interiors by H2 Yacht Design, whose long-standing relationship with Turquoise Yachts has created a yacht that feels both assured and highly personal. At 2,646GT, she has the volume to support serious entertaining, but her appeal lies in how that space has been arranged: a glass-sided counterflow pool on the main deck aft, an owner’s terrace with jacuzzi, a winter garden-style dining area and a beach club designed to keep guests close to the water.

The delivery of Angelique is a record-breaking moment for Turquoise Yachts.

Inside, the mood takes cues from the Art Deco-inspired design of Go, another Turquoise and H2 collaboration, but has been evolved for Angelique’s owner with blue accents, polished stainless-steel detailing and rich decorative finishes. A suspended Dale Chihuly sculpture in the central stair atrium gives the interior a strong focal point, while the yacht’s more relaxed spaces — from the main saloon to the owner’s deck lounge — are designed for long days that move easily from swimming to dinner to late-night films on deck.

The charter proposition is equally strong. Angelique sleeps up to 12 guests across two VIP cabins and four guest cabins on the main deck, while the owner’s suite occupies its own deck with a lounge, breakfast table, office, his-and-hers dressing rooms and direct access to a private terrace. Wellness is centred on the bridge deck, where guests will find a gym, spa, sauna, hammam and treatment room. The beach club—a key focal point—adds folding side terraces, skylights, a bar, seating area, massage room and a drive-in tender dock for added privacy.

Angelique is a statement delivery for Turquoise Yachts and a timely new arrival for the charter market—she joins the Edmiston charter fleet through Robert Shepherd. For those looking to spend the season on the water, this is a rare chance to step aboard a brand-new flagship at the very start of her story.
