The luxury cigar specialist launches its primary London address in St James’s, blending retail, rare humidors and hospitality in the heart of the capital’s clubland.
Pall Mall has always understood ritual and refinement. It is a street shaped by ceremony, connoisseurship and the kind of hospitality that rewards time well spent. Dominique London’s new boutique, then, enters that landscape—at the centre of St James’s clubland, feted for its wine, spirits and cigar culture—with a strong sense of fit.
The address—which hosted a grand opening on 25 March—is replete with institutions that have shaped the capital’s traditions of private hospitality. The Travellers Club dates back to 1819, while the Reform Club traces its history to 1836. Dominique’s new site is located opposite the Royal Automobile Club, and only a few steps from the renowned private members wine club 67 Pall Mall. Dominique London arrives in a setting where collecting, enjoyment and savoir-faire are already firmly entrenched in the dialogue.

The opening also carries strategic weight for the global brand. Dominique London has described Pall Mall as its primary London platform, one that will succeed C.Gars St James’s as the company’s main location. It also marks the fourth La Casa del Habano in the United Kingdom within the Dominique London portfolio, and the first official collaboration with Tang Tobacco since the two groups announced their partnership in 2025.
What gives this space its own identity is the experience offered within. Founder Dominique Gyselinck describes the design language as “a refreshed interpretation of Art Nouveau”, with scale and openness as “the pillars of the concept”.

Two walk-in humidors sit at the hub of the boutique: one dedicated to current cigars, the other, The Director’s Humidor, to rare, vintage and hard-to-find stock. Commissioned from DeART of Italy, they are housed in cabinets in a muted version of British Racing Green, in harmony with the wooden look and feel of their surrounds. The venue also includes an exquisite (and by-appointment-only) sampling lounge, giving the spot the feel of a hospitality destination as much as a retail address.
That hospitality element may prove just as important as the cigars themselves. This is a space built for ritual: that of lingering over a cigar with wine or spirits, whether in conversation or in a quieter moment of pause. It also aligns with Dominique London’s recent appointment of Neil Millington as hospitality and vintage humidor manager for the new venue. The company says the appointment of Millington—whose background spans Selfridges, Alfred Dunhill, Monte’s and The Lanesborough —will be at the core of a guest experience defined by knowledge, elegance and genuine connection.
“I’m thrilled to be going back to my roots, in terms of retailing as well as working in the St James’s area where I spent many years at Dunhill and the fantastic cigar lounge and bar that was Che,” says Millington, adding that Dominique London Pall Mall will be “the modern heart of hearts of the London cigar scene”.

Gyselinck, meanwhile, talks of taking guests on a journey, of guiding them towards the right cigar with confidence and curiosity: an approach that serious connoisseurs appreciate, as well as newer smokers seeking context, guidance and intelligent recommendations. The new premises should be deemed a place of discovery, with La Casa del Habano standards and trained specialists uniting to make the experience feel considered from humidor to armchair.
In a district replete with heritage and history, St James’s gains yet another landmark: a dedicated “Refuge of Taste” that treats the cigar as an object of craft and a reason for enthusiasts to gather.
