Vintage Cellar guides, sources and supplies fine wines for the most discerning collectors in the world. Discover how this dynamic business can elevate life on and off shore.
In a few short years since its launch in 2019, Vintage Cellar has quietly emerged as the oenophile’s confidant: a discreet team of expert advisers who curate, care for and choreograph clients’ fine-wine collection. Founded in Geneva and devoted to high-net-worth collectors who value both provenance and pleasure, the company blends old-world connoisseurship with tech-enabled efficiency. Its promise is simple: a cellar that lives with you— onshore, offshore and online.
Unlike transactional retailers, Vintage Cellar operates as a private advisory. “Vintage Cellar is a fine-wine company,” says Selim Bocti, founder and CEO. “The main objective is to be at the service of high-net-worth individuals—wherever they are in the world—in matters related to fine-wine collection, fine-wine drinking, finewine investment and fine-wine pleasure.”
The journey begins with a conversation. A dedicated sommelier or wine adviser maps your taste, time horizon and ambitions—whether you are building your first cellar or refining a legacy collection—then sources accordingly, often beyond the open market. The service is bespoke but never exclusionary; currently there are no intimidating minimums or annual fees—a deliberate choice to welcome the next generation of collectors who want to “drink better” rather than simply more.

Provenance is a near-sacred word at Vintage Cellar. Bottles are acquired ex-château whenever possible and held in specialised, fully insured, storage facilities in Bordeaux and Burgundy. Prefer to keep wine at home? The team will manage domestic cellars as meticulously as their own.
Beyond storage, Vintage Cellar also handles transportation—logistics that are especially appreciated by the Riviera’s world travellers as well as the yachting elite. A summer itinerary— Port Hercules to the Ionian isles—can be mirrored by a delivery plan, with the right rosé poised in Porto Cervo and a run of grand cru waiting in Kefalonia.
Of course, lead times exist—think a week across the Mediterranean—but the real luxury is forethought: a calendar of ports, menus and magnums orchestrated with captains and chefs, plus crew training and pairing guidance for service that matches the setting. It is, in essence, a cellar that cruises with you.

Beyond the Bottles
Owners gain access to a sleek app that offers instant access to holdings, valuations and offers, plus a direct line to your adviser—useful on a helicopter transfer when you are confirming that the Corton-Charlemagne will meet you in Courchevel. “The currency of our business is trust,” says Bocti.
Vintage Cellar also makes efforts to turn collecting into culture with a calendar of winemaker dinners, private tastings and insider travel—Bordeaux en primeur one week, a Saint-Tropez table the next—to create stories and memories behind the bottles and labels.

New for 2025, Vintage Cellar introduced Cellar Plans—ready-made, adviser-tuned blueprints to help clients start or top up collections. The range spans compact sets to deeper builds, including a 54-bottle plan at €15,150. Each plan is adaptable and can be tailored to the collector’s tastes, with options that run from New World and Old World collections to sustainable selections and “The Unicorns”—a set of 11 rare and unusual bottles for €16,310. “We love clients who have very little knowledge, because they build the knowledge with us,” says Bocti.
Ultimately, Vintage Cellar’s promise is simple: less stress, more joy. These experts offer storage, curation, logistics and learning so wine can return to what it is supposed to be. As Bocti puts it, “Wine is not really a necessity, but it’s a journey that brings happiness, passion, a smile—and we remind you of that”.
