If there was a Grand Prix for party events, SUNSET would surely score a podium finish. From May 23rd-25th, the gathering returns to the shores of Le Méridien Beach Plaza, reaffirming its status as one of the most anticipated shindigs to be held around Monaco’s famous Formula 1 race. Now in its 12th edition, SUNSET promises a fusion of music, art and the vibrant spirit that has become its hallmark.
What began as a private celebration among friends has blossomed into a flagship event, thanks to Monaco-based visionaries Thomas Peeters and Cédric Houdrouge. “Each year, we refine and elevate the experience,” says Peeters. “SUNSET 2025 will be no exception —we’re setting the bar even higher.”
With its idyllic beachfront setting and direct access by tender, SUNSET offers an escape where guests can enjoy the race atmosphere without the formality. From midday to midnight, the beach transforms into a haven of sound, style and sun-soaked revelry.
This year sees the return of Casa SUNSET, an immersive dining concept offering Latin-inspired dishes and cocktails curated by acclaimed chefs Paola Segura and Yoni Gurman. With live race screenings and eclectic beats, Casa SUNSET continues to foster connection and celebration. Its DJ line-up and programming will run alongside the main SUNSET stage, as crowd-pleasing spinners PAWSA, Parallelle, Mattéo Diop and Salomé Le Chat headline a curated roster.
As ever, the festival closes with a dazzling fireworks show, sealing SUNSET’s pole position as Monaco’s most electrifying beachside party.
